  • No cleats allowed.  Please wear sneakers.

  • Players must bring a glove. If you have a bat or helmet, please bring those as well. Shared equipment will be available.

  • If the weather is wet, please change into dry sneakers upon entering the gym to reduce the risk of slipping, as evaluations involve running.

Baseball

  • Report times are based on age and include all players, even those in majors last year.

Schedule by Date of Birth:

  • 9/1/17 – 8/31/18: Report 9:00, start 9:15

  • 9/1/16 – 8/31/17: Report 9:30, start 9:45

  • 9/1/15 – 8/31/16: Report 10:00, start 10:15

  • 9/1/13 – 8/31/14: Report 11:00, start 11:15

In previous years, everyone came at once, which caused long wait times. This is the 2nd year we are grouping by age to reduce waiting, though some delays may still occur.

Softball

  • League Age: Determined by your daughter’s age as of 12/31/2025. For example, a daughter who was 11 on New Year’s Eve is considered league age 11 for the spring season.

  • Evaluations: Not required for players ages 5-7 or 11+. Only players ages 8-10 will be evaluated. A small number of private invitations may be sent to new players outside this range.

Schedule:

  • Ages 8-9: Report at 11:30, evaluations begin at 11:45

  • Age 10 & special invites: Report at 12:00, evaluations begin at 12:15

Who Does Not Need to Attend

  • Farm (Coach Pitch) baseball and softball players (ages 5-7)

  • Tee-Ball players (ages 4-6)

  • Softball Players age 11+ (unless privately invited)

A few softball players outside the listed age ranges may be asked to attend privately.

Why Evaluations Matter- and are required.

  • Evaluations are required by Little League International and are not tryouts – no player will be cut. They are an important part of the process to place each child on an age- and skill-appropriate roster. Evaluations ensure your child is challenged without being overwhelmed, help create balanced teams for a more enjoyable experience, and allow coaches to get a clear understanding of each player’s abilities. Attending evaluations is key to making sure your child is placed in the right division and has the best experience possible this season.
