Salem Little League Refund Policy:
· Refund requests must be done in writing. The letter should be emailed to the division director (if already known) and the President. The email should have "Registration Cancelation" as the subject line, and include the full name, level of play he or she is registered for, and a reason for cancelation in the text of the email. The email must be sent from the person who registered the child. No refund/cancellation will be done without this email and without it being from the person who completed the registration originally.
· Because Salem Little League’s expenses to process a registration, order uniforms, etc. increase the closer we get to the start of the season, we have established this Policy to indicate the amount of refund you may receive at various points in time. Salem Little League (SLL) only refunds the registration portion of the amount paid when signing up to play, and not the Third-party Transaction Fee, late registration fees (if applicable), nor the credit card fees we absorb.
· Amount of refund will be based on the situation listed below:
o Cancellation on or prior to February 28th of a given year (February 29th on a leap year), 100% of the registration fee paid, minus the Third-party Transaction Fee, late registration fee (if applicable), and 3.4% credit card fee.
o Cancellation between March 1st and March 15th of a given year, 100% of the registration fee paid, minus the Third-party Transaction Fee, late registration fee (if applicable), $25 administrative fee (to cover the cost of uniforms already ordered) and 3.4% credit card fee.
o Cancellation on March 16t or later in any given year, no refunds (nor credits) will be issued.
· A parent/guardian requesting a registration credit instead of a refund will be issued the credit if the request is made on or before March 15th as stated above. Registration credits on accounts are good for 12 months in the amount of what was paid, minus the Sports Connect Transaction Fee, late registration fee (if applicable), and 3.4% credit card fee. After 12 months, the registration credit will expire, and refunds will not be issued.
All refunds will be processed as soon as possible but may take up to 2 weeks to process
