Salem Little League Softball and Baseball



Little League requires all Charter Members (such as Salem Little League) to hold a General Meeting once per year, known as the Annual Meeting. 

Salem Little League schedules meetings monthly, with the September meeting considered as the Annual Meeting.   This monthly meeting is to help Salem Little League remain transparent with all of its members, and to encourage members to become more involved.  All parents  are welcome to attend the general membership meetings, coaches are required to attend. 

The Board of Directors will cancel meetings in advance if there is no agenda, and will change the date if necessary due to league operations.  Cancellations generally only occur in December and July/August.  Meetings can be cancelled due to weather (snow, etc.), and should a meeting be cancelled due to weather, and if the Board determines there was an agenda for that meeting, it will be rescheduled.  Special General Membership meetings may be called by the Board of Directors at their discretion.  Notice of a Special General Membership meeting will be posted at least 5 days prior to the meeting on the SLL Website and Facebook page.

League Meetings will generally be held on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at the Columbus Society (aka the new Knights of Columbus), 18 Commercial Street, Salem.   

Coaches and managers are required to attend the general membership meeting.
